Thanks A Melon!

This summer we celebrate our 10 year anniversary and we can’t think of a better opportunity to reflect and show our sincere appreciation.

The number 10 can represent so many things, and some closely associate the number 10 to perfection. While these past ten years have had their challenges, they have been as close to perfect as I could have ever imagined. I’m not sure anyone would have advised starting a business during the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression, but it was never a concern. In my naivety, I believed that simply taking care of people and providing a quality service would pave the way to success. And, ten years later…here we are.

As we have grown over these first 10 years, we have been fortunate to add people to the team who have the same commitment to serving people that we have had all along. It is the cornerstone of everything we do. We are in the people business, production just happens to be the platform through which we serve. We wouldn’t be so well positioned for the next 10 years if it weren’t for the incredibly talented group that we have been able to form along the way. We are extremely thankful for our entire team!

Looking back over 10 years of projects, there are a few that stick out amongst them all. Our very first project – a multi-city tour with AMBI, a Johnson and Johnson product. This allowed the official launch of Pure Melon and we couldn’t be more grateful. Our first official Delta gig as Pure Melon, Delta’s Chairman’s Club, is a special milestone. I had the opportunity to produce the event two years prior, but we still weren’t sure if we would have the opportunity moving forward. That project laid the foundation for all of our Delta business to come, and we have had the opportunity and great privilege to be trusted with Chairman’s Club and many other events year after year. Delta Air Lines – not enough can be said about the company they are and the client and partner they have been.

This business has taken us all over the world and we have been able to do some pretty cool and exciting things, but none of it compares to the relationships this business has afforded us. The most interesting thing about the number 10, is that it is the first number that doesn’t stand alone, and neither do we.  From our clients, to our vendors and contractors – we couldn’t be more grateful for each and every one of you. You are the ones who have made the perfect 10 possible. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

Here’s to the next 10 –
